I put up my niger feeder yesterday for the pine siskens and hopefully one or
two American Goldfinches. Ended up with a redbreasted nuthatch feeding from
it. I've never seen them on this feeder before. They're usually stealing
sunflower seeds when the finches finally take a break from feeding.
