Janet and I cruised part way up the Umptanum road out of Ellensberg,
Sunday. There were quite a number of Kestrels, Mountain and Western
Bluebirds along the road.

After walking up a small canyon (near blue bird house #78) a short
distance, we were finally able to identify our first Lincoln's
Sparrow's!

There were many White-crowned Sparrows migrating. Even more numerous were
the Yellow-rumps *all* of the Audubon variety. They seemed to be on
almost every bush. It was most enjoyable.
