Emily,

you're in luck. With extremely rare exceptions, bird songs top out at
under 9,000 Hz. The only bird nearby whose song you might not hear all of
is the Brown-headed Cowbird. I believe their whistled songs may go over
10,500 Hz, but not by too much. Of course, if your implant declines
gradually in sensitivity as it gets close to the top end, then the faint
high pitched calls of Golden-crowned Kinglets, Brown Creepers, Cedar
Waxwings and such may elude you or sound altered.
