This is Kas Dumroese with the northern Idaho / eastern Washington /
northeastern Oregon bird hotline.

Phyllis Wicks reported a single ROSS' GOOSE with 12 Canada Geese on
April 17 in her Moscow, Idaho backyard pond. The bird was only seen
that day.

A NORTHERN PYGMY-OWL is persisting northeast of Moscow, according
to Dave Holick. The bird is being seen 3-4 times per week just east of
Robinson Park a few miles northeast of Moscow. From the intersection
of Mountain View and Joseph in Moscow, head east on Joseph following
the signs for the park. As you reach the park, turn right and go past the
manager's trailer. For the next 0.5 mile or so, check the power lines at
dawn and dusk.

My wife Debbie observed a single, male RUFOUS HUMMINGBIRD at our
Moscow home on April 15.

Good birding!
