I stopped by Nisqually NWR yesterday and found the gate down, so I went
in for a short walk during a sunbreak near dusk.
I soon learned that the gate should not have been open, as the refuge is
still closed to the public. But Jean Takekawa said they're planning to
reopen next Wednesday, May 1.
