Hi there! Came over to Patterson Lake area yesterday. Lots of hummers.Calliopes
have been here since Apr. 17 (reported by guests). Two Rufous yesterday aft.
In the evening, an incredible wave of V.G Swallows and Vaux's Swifts. This a.m.
there was a Merlin in the top of tree, less than 100' from deck. He is still
there and pays no attention to nearby swallows, Cassins Finches at feeders, or
even a Robin singing from the top of a nearby tree! More tomorrow. Clark Blake
