Greetings--

In that same vein, yesterday I was returning from the peninsula
and as I approached Shelton on Rte 3, I saw three birds together
and then a fourth one in the same area...big..nailing insects
like crazy...I had to double check my guide as I had not seen
common nighthawks at 1 pm before, and, in point of fact, not
at all in WA...unmistakable whitish wing bands flashing...
probably was a family group as the birds were sort of darkish
(couldn't see too much detail).. and most probably immatures..
fun to see them doing their thing..
