Some of us do keep track of such things since we regulate waterfront
construction projects and their impacts on wildlife. I'll pass this
sighting on to the environmental group at DOT/WSF. I have often wondered if
there were pigeon guillemots using any of the docks around Elliott Bay,
since there are so many documented instances of them using docks along the
waterfront in Everett (and yes, we design construction projects around
them!). If anyone else knows anything, or could tell me what kind of docks
they particularly like, we can keep an eye out in the future.
