and now, I just wanted to note that we still had adult BH Grosbeaks
feeding young (2) at our feeder in Naselle, Pacific co., as of 08/21/96.
Also, the general bird songs which were very noticeable only a couple
of wks ago (e.g., Sw Thrush, BH Grosbk, Win Wren, etc.), whether
summer visitor or breeder or resident or whatever -- they have all
ceased for now. Perhaps late summer is really here -- or is it early fall?
