Hi Tweets, a banner morning for birding the Montlake Fill. In addition to
the regular complement (of robins, song sparrows, and goldfinches) the
following 'less-than-common' species were present:

Yellow headed Blackbird
Western Kingbird
Baird's Sandpiper (juv)
Stilt Sandpiper (juv)

the shorebirds were at the central pond in the company of one juv. Western
Sandpiper, three juv. Least Sandpipers, and two Killdeer. The
Yellow-headed BB and the kingbird were noted in the southeastern part of
the fill (south of the gravel path, east of the central pond).
Additionally, a singing _fuliginosa_ Fox Sparrow was in this area.
