Marian Goheen reported 2 VARIED THRUSHES in her Hills West yard (Richland)
on November 22.

Bill and Nancy LaFramboise discovered an immature, gray phase GYRFALCON on
November 23 at the junction of County Well Road and Tyacke Road for one of
the few sightings in the county. The bird has not been seen again, but
those looking for it found other interesting species.

Phil Bartley and Ruth Fischer found 3 SNOW BUNTINGS on County Well Road on
November 24, 1 near the junction of Beightol Road and 2 near Tyacke Road.

Also on November 24, Bill and Nancy LaFramboise found a LAPLAND LONGSPUR in
with Horned Larks on County Well Road near Clodius Road.

Dennis and Glenda Rockwell found a LONG-EARED OWL in pine trees by a
farmhouse on County Well Road, November 24. The Rockwells also found 6 GRAY
PARTRIDGE along Badger Canyon Road, a NORTHERN SHRIKE along Badger Road, and
an immature FERRUGINOUS HAWK along South Oak Street in Kennewick.

On November 27, Dennis Rockwell found a very late SPOTTED SANDPIPER at Two
Rivers Park (Finley) and a PACIFIC LOON on the park lagoon.

Also on November 27, Bill and Nancy LaFramboise, again birding County Well
Road, found a SNOW BUNTING near Tyacke Road, and a BURROWING OWL near the
power line crossing. Further, they discovered a SWAMP SPARROW near the Crow
Butte (State Park) causeway and a Pacific Loon and 3 Least Sandpipers near
the Whitcomb Island causeway.

Ron and Carol Louderback found a WHITE-BREASTED NUTHATCH in their Kennewick
yard on November 29.

2 RED-BREASTED NUTHATCHES visited the Richland yard of Renee and Craig
Knight on November 29. They observed a BALD EAGLE at the junction of Van
Giesen and Kingston (?) Street on November 22.

As of November 29, the PACIFIC LOON remained on the Two Rivers Park lagoon.
Dennis Rockwell also reported single LEAST SANDPIPER and DUNLIN on the
Yakima Delta.

Lastly, on November 30, Christine Simonen noted 1 (and possibly 2) BLUE JAY
in her yard on Carriage Street in Richland near the location of the October
Blue Jay sightings.
