Dennis offered a glowing account of the 1000 or so Bald Eagles on the
Harrison River, BC. -- a story of a remarkable recovery. A total of
80 Bald eagles (plus a young Golden Eagle) enjoying the salmon run
here on the Goldstream River near Victoria may seem paltry. However,
reported among them was an immature Bald Eagle bearing redish-orange
wing
tags, presumably one on each patagium. Can anyone tell me who may
be marking Balds with this type and colour of tag? And where/when?
