Visit the Bald Eagles in Harrison Bay, British Columbia at the first
Harrison Bay Bald Eagle Festival this weekend, December 7 and 8 from 9 a.m
to 3 p.m. 1000 Bald Eagles winter in Harrison bay, Chehalis Flats and
Nicomen Slough. There are also about 200 Trumpeter Swans. The event is
organized by the B.C. Wildlife Watch, the provinicial wildlife viewing
program of the Ministry of Environment, Lands and Parks. Be sure to see the
200 lbs. sturgeon at Inch Creek Hatchery near Chehalis. Event particiapnts
can start at Harrison Hot Springs Chamber of Commerce office. An event
newsletter and map is available for $1 each. A special souvenir passport is
available for $2. If you visit 6 event sites and get your passport stamped,
you are eligible to enter the prize draw. A Bushnell representative will be
present with a collection of binoculars and scopes for viewing. For more

eagles in the Kenai Fiord of Alaska like Captain Cormorant, this collection
of eagles is spectacular! Plan to come to this event!
