A shipment of the latest two sets of eight species profiles in the Birds
of North America series arrived last week. For those who are interested
in the progress of this series, here is a list of the new accounts. The
whole set is available by subscription (past issues and future ones), or
individual accounts may be purchased separately (at Flora and Fauna Books
in Seattle, for example). The series when completed in another three
years or so will contain about 720 species profiles; 256 have appeared to
date.
