I ran into a friend Sunday evening who lives in West Seattle, just above
Lincoln Park. He's not a birder but noticed an unusual bird in his back
yard that he'd never seen before. When he checked a bird book, he
concluded it was a horned lark. I'm just wondering how unusual of a
sighting this might be in Seattle--and at this time of year. Has anyone
else sighted a horned lark around here?
