Rough transcript of SAS sightings hotline ("hotline" in the broadest
sense of the word) for 11 December 1996.

is Morus Bassanus. This report was made at 8:30 p.m. December 11. =20

The BLACK-AND-WHITE WARBLER at the Arboretum was relocated on the 11th
between the footbridge and Highway 520 on Foster Island.

The NORTHERN WATERTHRUSH at the Skagit Game Range Headquarters was
relocated south of the east lot along the canal on the 11th. Two
WHITE-THROATED SPARROWS were found near the boat launch there on the
9th.

At the Big Ditch access on the 11th were 9 BOHEMIAN WAXWINGS feeding in
Hawthorns. Also on the 11th at Big Ditch were 6 Snowy Owls.

A THICK-BILLED MURRE was seen in among Common Murres at Fort Flagler on
the 9th.

Two YELLOW-HEADED BLACKBIRDS were seen near the intersection of Highway
20 and the Bayview-Edison Road on the 9th. Also that day there were 48
SNOW BUNTINGS along March Point Road near fuel tank 166.

A possible RED-NECKED STINT was seen between Marrowstone Island and
Indian Island on the 8th, but has not been subsequently located.
