Since I last posted a message about an Emperor Goose in Tofino, two more
birds have been sighted. One bird was reported amid a flock of Canada Geese
from the Little Qualicum River Estuary, north of Qualicum Beach on East
Vancouver island. An additional bird was reported farther north, again along
the east coast of the island, in Courtenay on the fields of Farquharson's
market visiting with a flock of Trumpeter Swans.
