Wednesday afternoon at the "West 90" we found four Snowy Owls; one on a fense
post to the south, one on the dike to the south, one on the ground to the
west and one on the dike to the west. Three of them had heavy dark bars and
spots, whereas the fourth bird was lightly marked.

Present at the same time were five Short-eared Owls; four on the row of fense
posts to the west and one flying.

Also present were:
6- Rough-legged Hawks
1-Peregrine Falcon
5-Northern Harriers
6-Bald Eagles
4-Red-tailed Hawks(one was dark morph)
500+ Dunlin
30+ Black-bellied Plovers
2-Northern Shrikes(immatures)
