I agree with Ed about the local merchants but shop around! We found that
OPTECH nearly beat CHristophers(a discount retail mail order) in price.
For example they had a pair of Swift 10x42 waterproof binocs, roof prism
design for $199. Others stores had them for $260-$280. I also find that
while the image stabilizing system is nice, you pay about twice as much
and they are not equal in optics to some of the binocs like Ziess Diaylt.
