Hi Tweeters,

Yesterday (12/26) at 4:20pm during the snowstorm there was a snowy owl
on a lightpost on I-5 at Ravenna. I happened to see it as my bus was
creeping along under it. From a distance I thought it was just a
fluffed up, bird-brained gull facing away from me but then as we got
closer I realized that it was a snowy owl very much enjoying the
weather. :)

I'm almost ashamed to admit that this is my first snowy this year. We
have two small boys so don't bird as much as we used to. But don't
dispair, my 5-year-old is starting to enjoy spotting our feeder birds
so there's hope for us yet.
