Today was a fascinating birding experience... 14 species at our feeder and
consuming seed spread on a covered patio while sitting at my desk, looking
out at the snow. Gorgeous contrasts with Varied Thrushes against the snow
feeding on red berries. To top it off, an adult and an immature bald eagle
landed at the top of two tall firs between our home and Lake Sammamish.
