Tweets,
Yesterday while doing the Seattle CBC on the shilshole bay side of the
mouth of the locks, we noticed a peregrine that looked partially albino.
Here is the description. The legs and feet were milky white, the head and
back were almost an ashen gray and the side and back of the head was
streaked with white. The bird was definitely a peregrine, although because
of the unusual markings we examined both praire and gryfalcon
possibilities. My question is has anybody else seen a bird looking like
this hanging around the mouth of the locks? Also there was an Oldsquaw in
the same area which is quite unusual for being so close in.
