Dennis: Stuart pointed out to me that I must not have too much against
shorebird
festivals, as I'm going to be a speaker at the Kachemak Bay Shorebird
Festival at Homer, Alaska, on the weekend of 10-12 May.

That reminds me there's also a Cordova Shorebird Festival; must be about
the same time; anyone know the dates? Not taking anything away from
Kachemak Bay, but the Copper River is *the* place.
