One of the treats of my morning commute now is going along E. Lake Sammamish
down through Marymoor Park. Twice this week we have seen a pair of adult Bald
Eagles sitting up one of their favorite trees along E. Lake. They sit with
such typical hawk togetherness. Which means they are in the same tree but
facing in opposite directions. (Read A. C. Bent's account of the mating of a
pair of Red-shouldered Hawks in his LIfe Histories of North American Birds) I
assume that they will be nesting in Marymoor park. Its great to see them.
