I'll be in Galveston/Houston the first week of May for my niece's wedding.
We lived in Galveston when I was three years old (left when I was four).
Needless to say, I'll probably see a lot of birds my dad pointed out but
have long since forgotten. For that short year my dad, a colonel in the
Corps of Engineers, was the Galveston District Engineer. Also an avid bird
watcher. What a combination.
