Idlewook park, which is south of Marymoor along W. Lake Sammamish, has a great
perch where these birds can often be seen. The tree is visible from the road
and the parking area (the N. area which is on the lake-side of the road).
The perch tree is a tall cedar (?) near the water which is bare at the top.

During the week of Christmas, I saw at least four bald eagles from this park
flying or perching around the Lake. You often see Red Tails, and Northern
Harriers, too (other people have seen owls and accipiters).
