I am happy to resume again the gull report. Right now, five
glaucous-wings and two Calfornias are feeding in a tree well. Obviously
they have some delusion that they are varied thrushes :). BTW, I had my
first varied thrush for campus this morning while sliding down the
parking lot (they should've closed until noon--cars sliding everywhere,
students falling down, no salt or sand on sidewalks: an invitation for
litigation). RK
