Today walking in to work through a beautiful mixed conifer-alder-bigleaf
maple woods, the warm temperature seemed to bring out a lot of bird
courtship song. I heard my first winter wren of the season, a varied
thrush and a song sparrow. The chickadees & kinglets were active and
vocal as well. It feels like spring.
