Despite the rain, I'll second that. This morning as I let the dogs out in
the backyard, I was able to stand on our deck and listen to an enthusiastic
Winter Wren doing its thing. This is the first winter (out of three in
this house) that we have had them on our property. We have 1.9 acres in
the Willamette Valley with lots of blackberries and a small woods along a
creek. What a wonderful way to wake up!
