We've seen some very fine photos of an immature red-tailed hawk. I'm
not sure why you think there's a "controversy". I've got better things
to do that go drive for hours (days, at the moment, given the mudslides)
to see a red-tail. I can see plenty around here. If I'm getting in
a van to go birding, I'm going to the Rio Grande!
