Some time ago, a request was made to report early migration dates; and,
Say's Phoebe was on the list. Well, I observed one today in WW county.
Don't know if any others have been observed yet this year in WA.

It was off of Donovan Rd near RT 125 due north of Walla Walla. It was very
near the location that the Snow Buntings and Lapland Long Spurs were
reported earlier in the week. (the later were not present).

However, this not my earliest record. I had a Say's Phoebe on 1/08/83 at
the Hanford Site. As I recall, it was extremely cold at that time. The
bird spent the day hanging around the quad outside my office.
