Subject: Falcated Teal Update

On Sunday Feb. 11, the teal was still present in Tofino. It is best seen
usually from Sharp road (as posted previously). More often than not, the
bird is closest to shore on an outgoing tide. The bird may be seen at
any time but is most challenging to find at low tide because it may be in
a trough and concealed from view. At high tide, it is often far from shore.
