The Saw-whet Owls are still there but I couldn't find one. A recent high of
7 were counted on Friday. I counted 7 Black-crowned Night herons, a high
for me at Reifel and it seems that the winter colony is growing slowly.

One female Redhead has been around for quite a while. There is a Swamp
Sparrow that also alluded me, not suprising with the number of people.

In Kerrisdale, there was a reliable location for the Crested Myna at 41st
and West Boulevard over the bank in the south-west corner. I say was as I've
not seen them for a while maybe because of the Cooper's Hawk that seems to
be happy hunting from the north-east corner of the intersection.
