On February 12th at 11:30 am there were at least 12 Trumpeter Swans on the
north side of the Woodinville-Duvall Road, in the valley west of Duvall. If
you want to see lots of water, travel the road between Duvall and Monroe.
Turn west at the Reformatory Farm and check out the reformatory lake. Lots
of Northern Shovelers. Also, look for the immature Bald Eagle that hangs
around in that area. Then turn south by going around the road closed sign
and head for Oxbow Lake. Not much at the lake, but the fiields are quite
flooded and there are ducks and gulls in the "fields". Past the oxbow, the
road is still flooded. Happy Birding.
