Tweets,
Went up to John Wayne Marina yesterday at about 12:30 saw the loon
with two other birders and observed it for perhaps 10-15 min. at
about 50-60 yards off shore from the beach. Great Looks! Also had 4
oystercatchers on the beach and a pair of Mute Swans. Question: Does
anybody know if these are uncountable escapees or if they are thereal
thing (i.e. wild swans), reason for wondering is that I have never
observed them at the Marina before but they were very tame just
coming ight up to people. If anybody else has seen these swans while
looking for the loon I would appreciate feedback.
Thanks,
Scott Downes
