I'm talking to Bud Anderson on his cellular phone at 5 p.m. He's watching
a GREAT GRAY OWL east of Bayview, Skagit Co. If anyone has any interest at
all (ho hum), head W on hwy. 20 (the one that goes to Anacortes) from I-5,
turn right (N) on Port of Skagit Co. Rd. At about 1/2 mile, left (W) on
Ovenell Rd. Go about a quarter mile, and it could be anywhere. Wet sedgy
area, logged-off conifer/alder area. It's been in the trees along the road
today. Evan and Ann Maxwell found it yesterday afternoon (11 Feb). PLEASE
respect private property; best to look from road. Good hunting.
