Hi Tweets, Yesterday, 11 February, I admired a beautiful sky-blue Mountain
Bluebird 1 mile east of Bickleton in northern Klickitat County. The
intensity of blue matched the deep blue of the cloudless skies. Over open
fields just north of town were two "Ring-tailed" imm. Golden Eagles, 1 ad.
Bald Eagle (calving began on the rangelands end of January here according to
a local rancher, bringing eagles to anyplace there are cows),6 Red-tails, 4
Rough-legs and acrobatic ravens (14+).

In the groves of western junipers nearby, there were Townsend's Solitaires
(3), Am. Robin (133+) and Cedar Waxwings (8).

In the pine/oak groves a mile or two west of town were Mountain Chickadees,
both Red-breasted and White-breasted Nuts and a few Red Crossbills.
