I recently received a message from a friend whose husband has developed a
new CD-ROM called Eastern Birds by Sight and Sound (under the title,
NatureWare). She wrote: "It came out in October and is for Mac only and
has 1700 pictures and 300 sounds. The brochure is on the web page
http://www.natureware.com and you can also download a demo program. It is
aimed at the beginner/intermediate level and is fun." He is apparently
working on one for the whole country for the Macintosh. The Peterson
version that is out is for Windows only.

Hope those of you who went to see the Skagit Co. Great Gray Owl (Bud
Anderson told me there were11 cars parked there yesterday afternoon)
enjoyed it. He said a few people were pushing it a bit too hard; obviously
not Tweeters.
