All right. Correct me if I'm wrong, but is it not true that the Costa's
Hummer has not yet been added to the WA checklist? If so, why not? They
have been seen in Alaska and BC. Seems strange that there would be such
a gap, especially with the Great Basin Desert punching up east of the
Cascades. Any plausible explanation other than nobody at the right place
at the right time?
