Yes, in response to Pat Scott's post, a friend showed me that Birds of Prey book
(Scholz) and I had to have it. I think most of the birds photographed are
falconry birds - note the jesses on the ankles - and they are super gorgeous. I
think the book is aimed at bird carvers and artists who need to capture every
little feather edge accurately. Can't say it's helped me identify any birds
since I bought it, but it couldn't have hurt. Treat yourself.
