Again, the basis of this argument is built on a false assumption. My
statement in the beginning was "the people that shot their guns and swerve
their cars at birders on the Skagit and Samish flats are Ass Holes."

No offense David, but I think you have jumped to conclusions in a big
way. I know I never said anything to that effect, and I don't think Don
did either.

I think this whole discussion is exactly what happens out in the real
world. Both sides of the enviromental issue are guilty of jumping to
conclusions this way. The funny thing is, the way I see it, that both
David and I are really thinking the same thing. I don't think that David
would disagree with me that discharging a fire arm in a non-shoot zone is
wrong or that swerving your car at someone is dangerous and should not be
tolerated. Likewise, you won't get any argument out of me that
loud, inconsiderate, trespassing birders are nothing more than idiotic
jerks.
