Subject: donb hostility

I grew up in a small town in western Montana, worked for and knew many
unbelievably taciturn ranchers and farmers who knew an enormous amount
about the "natural" inhabitants of the land they worked, and I learned a
lot from them - not just about wildlife, but about tolerance and common
courtesy. The yahoos and shot-up road signs were there too, to be sure.

Rather than risk alienating and offending donb, or (Heaven forbid) being
a possible subject of his anger, I have posted a private e-mail reply to
David Anderson.

It really sickens me to see tweeters deteriorate like this.
