If you've read closely, you'll see it is the stereotyping that I
object to - and I've tried to make it clear I object to this
stereotyping in both directions.

I've met cowboys and ranchers that disgust me, and cowboys and
ranchers and other locals that I genuinely like.

Well, yes, I was rather sickened to awaken yesterday to a post
that essentially lumped all us city tweets into a lump of
effete, city-slicker types who don't know anything
about the natural world that we seek to protect.

How do you expect me to react? "Why, yes, Dave, you've captured
the real me!" ???

Stereotyping is the first step down the path towards intolerance.
