As I recall, the CCLO disappeared exactly when we had the big windstorm a
while back. I assumed that it saw the way the weather was heading, and
took off for greener pastures. Unusual birds do that, y'know; they hang
around for a while, and then move on. (Usual birds do that too, but it's
less noticeable.) As far as I know, nobody netted or trapped it; we were
all curious about its sex, but the consensus seemed to be that nobody
actually wanted to disturb it that much.
