However, you'll save 10%-20% buying mail-order. You must simply be
cautious in who you buy from. Our advice in the rec.photo.*
hierarchy over in newsgroup-land is simple: "B&H! B&H! That's
who we appreciate!", with Camera World in Portland a close second.

Yes, I realize I posted this earlier, but I just hate to see folks
pay more than they need to for such stuff, and I just as equally
would hate to see someone order by mail from one of the notorious
sleazeballs (for those of you who are interested, there is a
mail-order survey run by these groups, perhaps I should put a
link to it in my web pageset). Many of these firms practice
bait-and-switch, grey-market substitution, and similar stuff
(but not the two I mention above).
