Many thanks to those people who have been kind enough to send birding tips
to me. I shall pass all your notes to our group leader. We may not be
able to do everything that has been suggested, but we'll sure try to fit it
in.
By the way, we have some Anna's Hummingbirds which have successfully weathered
our winter here at the University of Victoria. I don't think they are spending
much, if any, time at feeders, because I can find them any time at their own
particular places, & any feeders have to be at least 1/2 mile away. Does
anyone know what they eat in the winter if there are no feeders around?
