What a precious story! These things never happen to me. I've had
house sparrows land on me in London, but that's about it (oh, gray
jays, too).

If it was the right time of year, the fuzz was probably incorporated
into the nest - they weave lichen into it, so the fuzz was probably
made of just-right thread.
