I spent some time up at Portland Audubon yesterday afternoon, hoping
the cold had brought the varied thrushes back and that I could get a
good photo. There was one foraging on scattered seeds outside "my spot"
(our financial person's office) when I arrived about noon, but when
I returned after doing an hour or so of work on our new computer
installation it was gone, and never returned.

Oh well, there's always next winter.
