Nerve-wracking, actually. It was bedded down right next to the
trail, I didn't see it at he was sleeping, sprang up right in
front of me like an apparition.
Bull moose are BIG. And can be really nasty.

That's the point. In Florida, EVERYONE - not just hunters - have to
wear orange during deer season in woods where hunting is allowed. It's
the law.

You wouldn't happen to be the woman who gained fame by climbing the
well-known turkey-vulture roost/fire lookout tower at P-Ranch, down
at Malheur, are you? I don't think the TVs were scared, probably
just annoyed, but the end result was the same.
They also poop on their legs to cool off.
