There are worse things to worry about than horned owls! A friend of
a friend (True story!, Really!) was camping at Hart's Pass. He was
outside of a tent in a sleeping bag when either a bear or mountain
lion bit him on the head. The doctor could not tell which from
the gape size alone. He woke up with a yelp and blood streaming
down his face. The bear or lion had mistaken his head for a furry
rabbit-sized animal.
